L1, L2, or L3 – why vehicle length is important
The designations L1, L2, and L3 stand for different vehicle lengths. Depending on the model, the number and size of side windows as well as the position of the mounting rails change. A visually similar body does not automatically mean that the same curtain set will fit. Always compare the length specification with your vehicle.
- L1: short version
- L2: medium or long version, depending on the manufacturer
- L3: extended version
Tailgate or double rear doors?
With a large tailgate, the rear window is part of a single continuous component. With double rear doors, the rear area is divided. The curtain shape and mounting method differ significantly. Therefore, expressly select the rear configuration mentioned in the offer.
Black or gray?
Black curtains appear particularly opaque and go well with many dark interior designs. Gray versions often make the interior appear brighter. Both variants serve as privacy and sun protection; the choice of color is primarily a matter of the desired interior effect.

The curtains must not interfere with the safe operation of doors, windows, seatbelts, or airbag areas. The driver's view must be fully maintained while driving.
Care
Remove dust regularly with a soft brush or a suitable textile attachment. For heavier soiling, follow the material's care instructions. The curtains should be completely dry before storing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do T5 and T6 sets always fit each other?
Not automatically. The model years, body length, window layout, and rear configuration mentioned in the respective offer are decisive.
Is a curtain set completely opaque?
The actual darkening depends on the material, color, light incidence, and installation. Product images and descriptions show the intended use.
Can I use an L1 set in an L2 vehicle?
This is not recommended unless the offer explicitly states both lengths. Window positions and rail lengths can differ.
